Hemos creado este subdominio con la intención de alojar aquí las aportaciones y actividades concernientes a Emacs de interés general, no sólo para hispano-hablantes y que, por ende, requieran su publicación también en inglés.
En la medida en que nuestro proyecto en gnu.manticore.es ha ido creciendo a lo largo de los años, parece que se impone una re-estructuración, que iremos abordando en los próximos meses:
- Mantendremos gnu.manticore.es como un sitio central de apoyo general al Proyecto GNU, con material propio y enlaces a nuestras contribuciones a GNU Emacs.
- Desplazaremos la ingente cantidad de material traducido al español sobre GNU Emacs a la dirección emacs-es.manticore.es.
Teniendo en cuenta que está muy orientado a la comunidad de habla castellana, nos parece más apropiado separar el proyecto "Emacs en español para usuarios finales" a esa otra dirección en particular, mientras que montaremos esta para, por ejemplo, rehabilitar el sitio del famoso Quakemacs (^_^).

We have created this subdomain with the intention of hosting here our contributions and activities pertaining to the general interest of Emacs, not only for Spanish-speaking people and, therefore, would require to publish them in English too.
While our project gnu.manticore.es has grown over the years, it seems convenient a re-structuring, which we will be addressing in the coming months:
- We will maintain gnu.manticore.es as a central site for general support to the GNU Project, with original material and links to our contributions to GNU Emacs.
- We will move the vast amount of material translated into Spanish on GNU Emacs to the web emacs-es.manticore.es.
Considering that is highly geared to Spanish-speaking community, it seems more appropriate to separate the project "Emacs in Spanish for end users" to that other particular address, while in this page we will manage the things, for example, to rehabilitate the famous Quakemacs site (^_^).
